1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Paido ("the Platform"), available at paido.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. Paido is operated from Croatia.

2. Description of Service

Paido is a local event discovery platform that helps users find events, offers, and promotions on Croatian islands including Krk, Cres, and Lošinj. The Platform provides an interactive map and timeline view of events, allows organizers to publish event information, and enables venues to share promotional offers.

3. User Accounts

Browsing events and offers on Paido does not require an account. Organizer accounts are created by Paido administrators upon invitation or request. If you have an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it up to date.

Authentication is handled through Google OAuth. By signing in, you authorize us to access your basic Google profile information (name, email, and profile image) as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Content & Events

Event organizers are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of the event information they publish on the Platform, including event descriptions, dates, times, locations, images, and pricing. Paido does not verify or endorse the content posted by organizers.

By uploading content (including images, text, and event details) to Paido, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote that content on the Platform for the purpose of providing our service. You retain ownership of your content and may remove it at any time.

5. Acceptable Use

When using Paido, you agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent event information
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its systems
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or collect data from the Platform without permission
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or organizers

6. Intellectual Property

The Paido platform, including its design, code, logos, and branding, is the intellectual property of Paido and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Platform without our prior written consent.

Content uploaded by organizers remains the intellectual property of the respective organizers or their licensors.

7. Disclaimers

Paido is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date event information, we make no warranties or guarantees regarding:

• The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of event information posted by organizers or sourced from third-party websites
• The availability or quality of events, venues, or promotions listed on the Platform
• Uninterrupted or error-free access to the Platform

Events may be cancelled, rescheduled, or modified by their organizers without notice to Paido. We recommend confirming event details directly with the organizer before attending.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Paido and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

Paido is not responsible for any damages or losses resulting from attending events listed on the Platform, relying on event information, or interactions between users and organizers.

9. Privacy

Your use of Paido is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, if we believe you have violated these Terms of Use. You may also request account deletion at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Croatia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Croatia. Where applicable, European Union regulations, including the GDPR, shall apply.
